The Management of Little Star Day School

The management and the team of Little Star Day School are made up of professional educators, child care professionals, and work/life-balance experts. A brief introduction of the company's senior management team can be found below:

Ida Maeder, CEO and Founder, co-founded Little Star Day School with her husband, Bernhard Maeder. Being the CEO she is responsible for the implementation of the company’s strategy. Ida Maeder serves as an executive resource to many of the company's client partners and has helped to develop new and innovative services that meet the evolving needs of working families.

Bernhard Maeder, CFO and Founder, is responsible for the financial management of the Company, including the implementation of financial policies and procedures and the development of a flexible infrastructure to support quality and growth.

The third member of the management is Erika Künzli. Her background is based on a degree in education. On one hand she is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the concept. As a lead teacher she also guides the teaching staff. On the other she meets with the parents and provides a link between the families and the management.

Daniela Berger Assistant Manager: Administration & Finance

Each school has the same structure. The team leader supervises all teachers and assistants. He/She is responsible for making sure that the day runs smoothly, the implementation of the syllabus and the strict following of the guidelines and rules. Furthermore, a Supervisor and the Educational Advisors have the overall supervision.

Little Star Day School has an international character due to the teachers being from all around the world. All of them have a lot of experience and, of course, a proper diploma in child care and preschool teaching. Furthermore, our teachers are first-aid certified (for babies and children) so they can help where help is needed. Regular seminars and workshops help our teachers be the best - Always.

And: Working with children is not a job for them - it's a passion.
